TESTIMONIALS
I have had the privilege of working with Stephanie Cumberland of Presenting YOU since October 2007. Immediately she showed not just her fashion expertise but also that she has the rare ability to critique one's appearance and closet without making them feel awkward and embarassed.
She doesn't simply tell someone what to wear but she teaches them about their bodies and how to work with any imperfections we all individually face. Be it hair, a wide nose or wide hips she has really mastered the ability to dress someone from head to toe in a way that not only makes them feel comforable but that gives lasting confidence.
The best thing Stephanie will ever dress you in is the smile that comes when someone feels good about themself.
I would recommend Stephanie to any man, woman, mother, business person or teenager alike. The kind of knowledge she has is invaluable. Working with her has absolutely changed my life.

"Stephanie provides a wonderful service. It's amazing what she can do in a couple of hours, it was the best shopping experience I've ever had, bar none. I would recommend her to anyone without question. Just do it. She's the bestest!"

I feel I have given myself an amazing gift by honoring myself enough to work with you! You are an Artist. You are gifted with the ability to see great beauty in everyone and everything. You see it clearly and help each of us lift the mask that we may be wearing that keeps us from seeing ourselves as the works of art we are. You have helped me to view color, texture, palette, shape and form in a whole new way so that now I feel like a "work of art" when I dress myself using your wisdom.
I feel the joy of being a little girl again, playing dress up, except that now, all those wondrous worlds of fantasy are in my own closet and and every day is a new opportunity to create something fun, beautiful, fantastical or simply cozy! My closet is now a new source of creativity rather than just another place to clean. Thank you Steffie!! I'm having soooo much fun and I feel so much more beautiful in my own skin :-)

Lookin' Good!
The most common questions people always ask: Does someone do your makeup for you? Does the station help buy your clothes? The answer to both is yes and no. Honestly, just trying to look presentable at 5 in the morning takes a lot of help. Throw in four hours of sleep and a 2 year old, and it's next to impossible. All of us on-air types at CBS 13/UPN31 have guidance from stylist Stephanie Cumberland. She is an absolute Godsend!!!
Stephanie comes in a couple of times a week and talks with us about makeup, hair and clothes. Steph wants us to wear bright colors and clothing that fits our body types. For years I had been buying suits made for taller women and I had no idea. She also helps us accessorize and find outfits that fit our personality. I like to wear suits, but change things up and get a little funky too. Once in a while, I'll bust out a colorful/crazy top. The best thing is that she finds bargains. Here's a tip for you bargain shoppers: we always find deals at Loehmann's, MothHole consignment store in Fair Oaks, Renaissance consignment store and Nordstrom rack. We dig for deals!
As far as makeup goes, she taught us how to put our own makeup on. There's no makeup artist standing there to touch us up whenever we go to commercial break. So, we all learn how to slap on the makeup half an hour before the show. Hair is a big deal, as many of you have showed us in your emails about Mark's hairdo. Steph often comes with us to our hair appointments and works very closely with the stylist. Again, we try to keep our styles simple but updated because none of us has an hour to primp in the morning.
Even after 10 years in TV, I'm still learning what works and what doesn't.

"I have learned so much from Stephanie. First, she teaches you some really basic things about what works with your shape and color. Then it's easy to take if from there. After just a couple of shopping trips with her I have learned what styles work best for me, colors, even the brands that fit my body type. She works with my budget and my time schedule. She knows what I like and once she gets a sense of that she makes recommendations that make shopping fun - after all, it feels great to put something on that looks good on you!"

Stephanie Cumberland is an amazing consultant to work with. I have been in the television news industry for 12 years now. As an anchor and reporter she has totally transformed the way I present myself not only in the studio but in the field. Her thoughtful advice on wearing suits, make-up, and presentation are now part of my routine as I prepare for broadcasts. If you want to take your image to the next level I highly recommend Stephanie!"

"Having been a celebrity photographer for over thirty years - with credits from Jimmy Carter and David Bowie to Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp, Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie - I have to admit I learned more about styling and what works visually in front of the camera from Stephanie Cumberland when she was modelling than I ever did from any of the 'famous' (and over-priced) stylists and costumers here in Hollywood."
